Logistics & Supply Chain Management  Program Description

The proposed Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is tailored to prepare students for rewarding careers in the world of business such as accounting, finance and management. People employed as logisticians in these fields analyze and coordinate logistical functions and are responsible for the entire life cycle of a product from acquisition to distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources. Logisticians are employed in an array of occupations and industries including transportation, purchasing managers, buyers and purchasing agents, management, scientific and technical consulting services, etc. Students who complete the certificate program may apply credits earned towards the M.B.A. degree program. Classes will be taught on the main campus and in Frederick, MD in the evenings.
